The rain, lightning and thunder, they were both driving me to sleep and keeping me awake. But I took my nap nonetheless.

But the light in the room died on me as I became active again. So a quick trip to NTUC to get the replacement. But it was still raining lo. Tmd.

I cleared out my cupboard, but it still feels messy. Nvm, at least it looks better already.

Just when I can sleep in, I couldn't sleep.

I woke up @ 10, @ 11. Finally I decided to get up completely @ noon.

And it is Halloween this weekend

Ran on Tuesday night. And ran again tonight. Only stopped @ traffic crossings, no slacking of any form. Felt good, but the left ankle felt loose also. :)

I went for a ride just now. After a long time. My bike was all dusty and dirty.

I don't have much to say about Singaporean drivers except we have much to improve on. But hey, I'm both a cyclist and driver ok? (That is just an excuse btw, lol)

My sis asked me to pick her from school, cos she was having headache and didn't want to make the long journey home. So yeah, I came home, and I went.

But it took nearly an hour as well. The peak hour jam on PIE was gg.

@ 12.45pm, it was more than 24 hours without sleep.
I woke up @ around 5.30pm. More than 24 hours without food.

After dinner, all was back to normal. But I think I am falling sick. So I made myself a cup of Redoxon.

It was a very warm day.

It was a roller coaster ride of emotions. But finally, all was good. Better late than never.

I can tick a few things off the list this morning.
I didn't sleep well.

A weird feeling coursed through me. Just. I felt the tingle. I have no idea what the trigger is, because I was just stepping out of the loo. Lol?

Anyway.

Another long hot walk up the slope, to figuring out how to operate iPod nano, I clocked another long run today. Okay actually not that long considering that we felt we have cooled down and walked the remaining distance back. From cable skiing to David and Victoria, we made our way back. Haha. But it felt really good to have some form of companion for exercise.(Don't even start on the California Fitness thingy, I'll filter that out, thanks. As usual.) I thought the talk/walk back was more fun than the run itself. Lol.

Well, though dinner after that probably did more than offset the work done early. Yes?

I'll probably add more if I got the mood later in the day. I need to sleep. Already.

I couldn't sleep last night.

So I went for a long run this evening. What is the link? Seriously there isn't. I ran to Novena. Made a u-turn and headed back towards the Marymount direction, nothing too fast though. During which I almost fell into the drain. Hur hur. But I guess the run was good. Until I got home that is.

I rinsed my running wear, and put them into the washer with the rest of my weekly stash. Twenty minutes later, it struck. I forgot to open the drain for the pipe to drain the soap water. So my kitchen got half flooded with soap water. So I had to clean it up. What a blur fool. Feels shitty.

The week is ending already. Wow.

I can't find the pushcart that I wanted to. It has been a few years though. After the revamp to the basement into a food zone. I walked around, walked the different floors. No luck. Oh well. It is probably extinct.

To be able to cook in this modern day, it is a huge value add. Haha.

Ok I just ate a bowl of instant noodles. Says so much about me. Hur hur..


I don't think I'll ever find one.. Thinking back it is like a vicious cycle every time, all the time.

It wasn't supposed to be like this, feels almost like cold turkey now. Haha. Chill, I am not on drugs.

I just got back from an amazing day. Totally impromptu, but absolutely enjoyable. ^^
The September Issue is not just for the ladies. There are some stuffs that you ought to know, even if you have absolutely no interests in. Yes. :)

Dinner was followed by some walking about on the neighbouring island. Exploring, and withstanding bomb blasts while you were just going about doing your business in the loo. How amazing. :) More walking, and in the end feeling stupid about it because we did not see the signs.

A little drive back to somewhere familiar, all made possible by the navigator. Haha! Another walk, heritage buildings with nice layering inside, and another watering hole. A no holds barred session is always enjoyable. Groundnut shells, shriveled nuts, round and fat nuts, in all shapes and sizes. Not forgetting the mother of all, the oval one. Of course, just that it, that was oval, wasn't a nut. You know what I mean, or not. Haha!

More random walkabout on a deserted street, enjoying the calm of the night and the lack of life on it. But the humidity was something we could do without though. Golden arches brought back memories of the mega supper from the previous night, but hey, all was nice ;)

The journey back to where it all began was a simple retrace of our steps. Letting the head down and the wind in, the closure was all that this day deserved.

I have been trying to eat healthy (at least I thought I was trying), and living healthy by going for that few random runs a week. But I guess the sleeping hours brought everything crashing down. How ironic huh. Oh and I think I had a nightmare last night. Didn't wake from it though, I never did. The bed was in a mess, and I was in a awkward position. Thankfully my neck wasn't. How did that happen, I don't know either. But I would have been pisssed if I had a sore neck.

And I guess it probably has to do with the fact that I was, and still is, feeling secretly emo. I know. What's new right? Well, maybe because I have not been blogging much. Can't really find the mood to write. Sometimes. Never mind.

I feel like crap. Bye.

Impromptu supper last night. Carl's Junior. Haha. Sinful but tasty. :)

The birthday lunch today was a baby congregation.

Felicia Chin in the ah lian role. Quite irritating. But nice! Haha. Ok I am biased.

Hmm. I dreamt of the scene of having mooncakes @ Swensen's last year.

Wasn't the first time such things happened. The usual suspect. Maybe I was unforgiving, but I thought I did the correct thing in my context. Heck. Couldn't care less anyway. Looking back I thought I was very aggressive.
