I'm back.

Finally back from camp after a week's 2HR Standby. Supposed to hand over to the next unit, but, deciding to be cunning, quoting directives, they insists that we cannot do so as it was a public holiday.

WTF?!?! Are we not humans also? Having done the CNY weekend for them, can't we at least have the last day of holiday?

So, suck it up. We endured another day. So finally, I'm back home.

Well, not too bad an experience to spend CNY in camp. Was so darn slack because there's no one around. All on leave. Had the entire camp to ourselves. Swim a lot. Got a tinny whinny bit tan I think. Haha.

Days were spent sleeping, eating the goodies, watching DVD, watching TV, slacking, playing PS2 24/7 etc... It was a chalet, literally. Had all the facilities to enjoy. The only thing wrong is the setting. We are in the bloody camp!!! Argh!!!

Nvm, it's all over. The last standby duty le. Nothing much to blog about la. Nothing interesting happened also.

Oh! Maybe just 1. My higher HQ officer demostrated the perfect example of putting his foot into his mouth. Again. No surprises there. He said that he owe us no thanks as it was part of our responsibility in undertaking the duty. And that owing us 1 day of off is no big deal. Cos we are gonna clear leave soon, and gonna ORD soon..

Well, hmm. Nothing much to say about him. It's still the festive season. Don't wana ruin a already ruined CNY.
