If you try hard enough, luck will run out.

I have been very lucky this week. Remember I was at the Yonex warehouse sales last Friday? Yeah I left my credit card at the cashier and I was none the wiser until the bank called me on Tuesday, to inform me that my card had been retrieved by the vendor and awaits my collection. And there had been no fraudulent transactions, talk about being lucky part 1.

And so I headed down to collect the card on Wed, and it was all sunny and bright when I left the house. But the moment I left the office compound, it started pouring cats and dogs. Just when I was at the exit of the expressway back home, the rain died down and then I started hearing a weird sound coming from the rear. It doesn't sound promising as I recalled the incident with YH on PIE coming back from Jurong. Stopping the car by the road side, I noticed this! 

Giant nailed in.

Remembering how we laughed at YH's, karma is a bitch when you get bitten back on the arse.

Thankfully I was so close to home that I was able to get the vehicle to the workshop at the petrol station outside my house. Got it replaced and then went home after. As I was lamenting how I've used up all the good luck with the credit card issues, I also noted that I could have ended up in a worse shape. Like if it was a violent puncture on the PIE with that storm raining down onto me, and I had to either wait for either the tow truck or attempt to change to a spare tire; all the while worrying if the vehicles passing by me are gonna be splashing the puddle all onto me, despite me getting drenched already.

Oh well. So, the pair of invisible hands that had been keeping me safe, Thank you. Eh I promise I'll TRY to be nice, and I'll share another gift while I'm at it.

Met A for a really random brunch/lunch. And... Apparently my disappointment in the overcooked meat was a tad obvious... Haha.... :J

The 12th day brought us to the mermaid, whereby my fascination with their white mug hasn't diminished by any bit. Venti sized festive beverages going for 50%.

Played tic tag toe. Started off promising, but......... The game changer was an outlier; a black swan. Something different, yet very interesting.
