Two statements from two very different articles, but delivering the same idea (to me at least). 

Like anything in life, we tend to avoid or be intimidated by what we don't understand. But, we can choose to observe, learn, and eliminate the hesitation.

People react to the mysterious in one of the three ways: with fear, with fabrication, or with efforts to deepen their understanding.
