Had been waking up to thunder, lightning and rain in the wee hours of the morning, and in fact it is thundering in the distance as I write. The OCBC cycle event is in a couple of hours time. Good luck to the participant and hopefully they get a nice weather. Oblivion the movie was rather disappointing, so is Olympus Has Fallen. Mixed reviews about Fe-Man III, well we shall see in this coming week.

A couple of nights ago I had a dream about a particular ex classmate of mine. The dream was that we were in math class and I didn't have my text with me so I had to share with her. And while we were making our way home from school it started raining and we were caught in the downpour. 

It was pretty random and rather intriguing. We were classmates for six years. The first thing that you'll probably notice about her is that she's quiet, composed and perhaps even a little cold, but this was then. If I recall correctly my Mandarin teacher didn't like her at first. The teacher thought she had a 高高在上 attitude. If I recall correctly I was assigned to sit next to her once because my form teacher thought I talked too much in class. Hahah. 

Since leaving school I've not kept in touch with her, although she stayed a few blocks away from me. I rarely if not never bump into her. Neighbor saw her a few times before, but not sure if she'd moved or even gotten married already. Haha I have always wondered how she is. 

Anybody, any idea?

I scribble, I don't write.

I've known ever since the first day that I had penmanship assignment that I can never write neatly. I guess I simply didn't have the patience to, nor I think my hands would cooperate with me. IWell there are those rare occasions whereby I actually got a grade better than a B in those assignments back then, I have no idea. Comments about improving my handwriting were common in my report cards and I think my teachers gave up soon after too. Haha. It felt like going against the thought flow and almost excruciating to try write properly, so I gave up. Excuses I know, but well. I'm no handwriting expert but I do know that my writing turns out nicer if it wasn't deliberated. I like how my Fs' and Gs' loops turned out and though there isn't exactly a way of replicating it, especially when the thought process is faster than what the hand can write and sometimes I ended up scribbling some short-forms that I had trouble deciphering later on.

Anyway. Who in this era still writes on good ol' paper and pen? *Looking sheepishly @ me.*

It was somewhat disappointing, the boat ride wasn't ready and some of the residents are still waiting to be moved in. Saw a lazy panda though, he probably had a rough night and was hungover when we visited. Roflmao. And of course the panda enclosure was the coziest because there is aircon for us to escape the humidity and heat!

For the 2nd last time of my entire life, I have to say IPPT is the most anal physical test, ever! I always feel that it is designed to sap maximum energy and effort from one in the shortest time. I'm glad to clear mine today without any major hooha. Meaning, one last one to go after July. I can't wait to be free of this pesky irritant that never seemed to go away. But I'm sure I will miss ICT. How perfect if there was simply ICT sans IPPT. I know right, life is never a bed of roses.

Post run nutrition. Okay, we had la mian xiao long bao too. With a potent dose of Chinese tea.
